Privacy Policy
Effective August 29, 2026. Supersedes the August 25, 2026 version: section 4 was added, covering the Instagram and Facebook accounts we operate on a client's behalf. Controller: AV Engineering Corp, Sunrise, Florida, United States, operating this site under the name AV AI.
This page explains, in plain language, what av-ai.dev collects, what we use it for, and what you can ask us for. If anything is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.
1. What we collect when you visit
When you open a page on av-ai.dev, our own measurement system records:
- The page viewed and the language.
- The address parameters, including the campaign code that sometimes accompanies one of our links (for example
?s=), which tells us which email or post the visit came from. - The date and time.
- The page you came from, if your browser sends it.
- Your IP address and browser identifier, which our server records when it receives the request, as happens on any website.
We do not use this information to identify you personally, and we do not use it for advertising. We use it to understand which content is useful and to tell real visits apart from automated traffic.
2. Hosting and network
The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver pages and protect them from abuse.
This site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare inserts its own script into each page (served from static.cloudflareinsights.com) which reports page loads back to Cloudflare in order to produce aggregate traffic statistics. We do not use it to identify you and we do not combine it with advertising, and Cloudflare's handling of that data is governed by its own terms.
3. If you message us on WhatsApp or by SMS
The buttons on this site open a WhatsApp conversation with our business number, and that same number can exchange SMS messages with you. Please note:
- The first reply comes from an artificial intelligence assistant, not a person. We say so openly, and if you ask, the assistant confirms it too. To produce that reply, the text and images in your conversation are processed by an Anthropic model; if you send voice notes, OpenAI transcribes them.
- WhatsApp is a Meta service, and message transport is governed by Meta's terms, not ours. SMS messages are delivered through Twilio and your mobile carrier.
- We store the conversation and whatever details you choose to give us (name, business, need, contact method) in our customer management system, HubSpot, so we can help you and follow up.
- We only follow up if you agree to it in the conversation. You can ask us to stop writing at any time and we will respect that.
Your mobile number
No mobile information will be sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only third parties that see your number are the providers needed to deliver the message (your mobile carrier and Twilio, our messaging platform), and only for that purpose.
Consent, message frequency and rates
You only receive SMS from us if you started the conversation by writing to us, or if you gave us your number and expressly agreed that we could write to you. Message frequency varies with your conversation: we do not send recurring campaigns or bulk broadcasts, and outside a conversation you started we only message you to follow up on what you asked us for. Message and data rates may apply.
How to opt out
Reply STOP and we stop messaging that number; reply HELP for our contact details. We do not require a particular keyword: you can also ask us in your own words, in the conversation or by writing to support@avengineeringusa.com. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions.
4. If you connect your Instagram or Facebook account
We offer clients a service that publishes content and handles conversations on the client's own Instagram and Facebook accounts, through Meta's official interfaces. This section explains what happens to the data in that scenario. None of it happens until the account owner connects the account and grants the permissions from their own Meta account, and it stops as soon as they withdraw them.
Who is responsible for what
When we operate a client's account, the client decides what gets published and what gets answered: they are the controller of that data and we process it on their behalf, following their instructions. For the data on this site and in our own channels, we are the ones responsible, as the rest of this policy says.
What Meta data we process
- The connected account's identity: the username and the identifiers of the account and its posts. We use them to show the account in the client's dashboard and to aim each action at the right post.
- The posts the client asks us to publish: the images and text the client approves before anything goes out.
- Comments on that account's posts: the text of the comment and the username of whoever wrote it, so we can reply.
- Direct messages to that account: the content of the conversation, so we can answer the question and so a person can take it over when needed.
- The contact details you give us inside the conversation: your phone number or email, and the consent you give there for us to write to you. Only if you type them in: we never take them from your profile.
We do not access friend, follower or contact lists, or data about anyone beyond the person who writes or comments. We do not access any account its owner has not connected.
If you commented on or messaged an account we operate
Then your data is what the previous point describes: what you wrote and your username. The first reply may come from an artificial intelligence assistant, just as in our own channels, and to produce it an Anthropic model processes the text. We write to you inside the conversation you started. And if, inside that conversation, you give us your number and expressly agree that we may write to you, we can also do so by WhatsApp or SMS to that number, and only about what you asked us. We never write to a number you did not give us, and agreeing is not a condition of being helped. You can ask us to stop, or to delete what we hold, in that same conversation, by replying on whichever channel, or at the email address at the end of this page.
What we do NOT do with this data
- We do not use it to train artificial intelligence models, ours or anyone else's.
- We do not sell it, rent it or hand it to advertisers.
- We do not combine one client's account data with another client's, and we do not use it for another client's benefit.
- We do not use the connected account for anything other than the work agreed with its owner.
How long we keep it and how to have it deleted
The text of a comment and the username are kept for as long as they are needed to handle that interaction and whatever follow-up the client has agreed to. Conversations are kept while there is an active relationship with the client, or until deletion is requested.
To ask us to delete your data, write to support@avengineeringusa.com telling us your username and the account you wrote to. We act on it and confirm the deletion by the same channel. And the account owner can stop all processing at any time by removing our access from their own Meta account settings, without asking us and without telling us.
5. What we use the data for
- Answering what you ask and following up commercially if you agreed to it.
- Understanding which pages and messages work, so we can improve them.
- Separating real traffic from automated traffic and from our own, so we do not mislead ourselves with our own numbers.
6. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not share it with advertisers.
- We do not show ads on this site and we do not place third-party advertising trackers.
- We do not share your mobile number or your SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- We do not use the content of your conversations to train artificial intelligence models, ours or anyone else's. We contract the providers named below under terms where the content is processed to produce the reply at hand, not to train their models.
7. Who we share it with
Only the providers we need in order to operate, and only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare — site hosting and network.
- Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook) and Twilio — message transport if you write to us, and the interfaces through which we publish and reply on a client's account when they have asked us to (section 4).
- Anthropic — the artificial intelligence model that reads the text and images in your conversation to produce the assistant's reply.
- OpenAI — transcription of any voice notes you send us.
- HubSpot — contact management.
- Hetzner — servers where the conversation history is stored.
We may also share it if a competent authority legally requires us to.
8. How long we keep it
Navigation data is kept for as long as it is useful for measuring and improving the site. Contact data is kept while there is an active relationship or commercial interest, or until you ask us to delete it.
9. Your rights
You can ask us, free of charge and at any time, to:
- Tell you what data of yours we hold.
- Correct it if it is wrong.
- Delete it.
- Stop contacting you.
We honor these requests even where the law does not require us to in your particular case. To exercise them, use the contact below.
10. Minors
This site and these services are aimed at businesses and professionals. They are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes
If we change this policy, we update the effective date in the header. Significant changes are announced on this same page.
